Minds Europe – Institute for research excellence and technological advancement (MEI) is a Research and Development Organization dedicated to conducting high-quality research and promoting advancements in technology that operates through four main drivers (Mind-set CULTURE, Mind-set NATURE, Mind-set PEOPLE, Mind-set AI). The MEI brings together a critical mass of knowledge and skills on projects designed to create a stronger platform for interdisciplinary research and partnerships with industry to create solutions and further contribute to the European economic, technological, and societal growth.

MEI team consists out of research and academic professionals with over 50 years of collective experiences in topics such as: education, culture and creativity, ICT, digital transformation, digital wellbeing, human computer interaction, sustainability, environmental protection and climate change, health, mindfulness, resilience, social vulnerability and inclusion, Rights & Gender Equality, vulnerable and marginalized groups and many other. MEI is forming synergy with similar minded entities such as governments, local administrative agencies, non-profit agencies, commercial entities, and educational institutions trying to make our planet a place of well-being, a harmony between nature, culture, people, and technology. Therefore, we strive to identify and tackle systemic challenges through evidence-based research, going beyond state of the art, developing solutions by taking into consideration the local ecosystems, cultural dynamics, needs of the stakeholders and implementing sustainable solutions. MEI gathers creative, fully equipped researchers, project managers, educators, trainers, and ICT developers.

MEI team includes researchers and practitioners with different academic background from fundamental disciplines, such as mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and all the way to economy, psychology, geosciences, geoinformatics, culture and creative industries, just to mention a few. Our team exhibits a high level of expertise and professional experiences collected from academic research, managing national and EU-funded projects (e.g., H2020, Horizon Europe, COST, Erasmus+, IPA cross-border, etc.), as well as industry-focused projects (e.g., Dubai EXPO 2022 or European Capital of Culture Novi Sad 2021). The success of our team is recognized in the scientific community with numerous papers published in top-tier academic journals.
